Digital XRays and What that Means to You
Cerec Equipment - Crowns in One Visit!
we are committed to making the quality of your treatment a quicker and more positive experience.
In keeping with our mission to make your visits with us faster, safer and less intrusive we have added the state of the art CEREC 3D. What this means is that you may now in a single visit replace a significantly previously repaired area with an exactly duplicate piece to bring your damaged area to 100% of it's former self.
The CEREC 3 unit uses a mobile PC that is designed specifically designed for dental applications. The entire unit is comprised of a LCD monitor, a precision 3D camera and a dedicated milling unit. The CEREC is the world's only system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in a single visit.
In keeping with bringing the newest and safest methods to help serve you, Dr. Hjorth is pleased to announce the addition to our office of a digital X-ray technology. This innovative technology will make patients smile for many reasons.

Digital x-rays require 90% of the radiation of traditional x-rays. In this way you are not exposed to hazardous radiation as with more outmoded equipment. As well the results are transmitted immediately to the screen at the patients computer monitor. This means a more accurate and safer image. Additionally, there are less delays during treatment and no exposure to potentially dangerous chemicals for the doctor or the staff.

All in all, the utilization of digital x-ray equipment is more friendly to the enviroment and a faster, safer alternative. Ask Dr. Hjorth for a brief tour.

Almost all restorative methods require more than one visit to the dentist.tooth restoration isn't just convenient, it is also healthy.  Many years ago, dentists had few options to repair decayed and damaged teeth other than amalgam, gold, and other metals.  With CEREC, your dentist can use strong, tooth colored ceramic materials to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty, and function.
KCP Whisperjet : Equals Painless Dentistry

The KCP allows early intervention and conservation of healthy tooth structure
It reduces the need for anesthesia, resulting in greater patient comfort and acceptance of treatment. The reduced need for anesthesia also eliminates the waiting period, enhancing productivity. Prior to the placement of composite fillings, it prepares the tooth for bonding by modifying the tooth surface and
reduces or eliminates a number of factors contributing to patient discomfort. This is not possible with conventional instruments requiring anesthesia
