Jenna Hebert, RDH - Dental Hygienist
Growing up, I always knew that I had a deep desire to help people and I was fortunate to know at a young age that becoming a hygienist would allow me to make a difference. I am a graduate of the Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene and Northeastern University and certified in local anesthesia.. With my education and help from my mentor, I established the rules of how I wanted to practice my hygiene career and made it a way of life. Dr. Hjorth allows me the freedom to demonstrate what I believe in which is to be compassionate, have fun, laugh often, always learn and enjoy my career. Becoming friends with my patients is my goal. I strive and build my care foundation on trust, kindness and a gentle hand. Professionally, I pride myself on always trying to stay up to date with new skills and advancements in technology but what I truly enjoy is getting to know my patients beyond their teeth. I do everything I can to make the experience of coming to the dentist a less anxious time for my patients.
I have participated in research trials at the Forsyth Institute, Special Olympics Special Smiles and I am an evaluator of new products in the dental world. I also have been honored by being chosen as hygeniest of the month by Dental Products Shopper Magazine. Personally, I am a lover of poetry, music, cooking and a collector of antique books. I am humbled that my patients trust me, but I am most proud that they call me a friend in return.
